![]() A licentiate member of The Royal Photographic Society, Lesley Treloar is an emerging photo based artist and documentary photographer who has won international and national awards, she was born in London and has spent much of her life in Cornwall where she is now based. Having traveled extensively throughout America, Asia and Oceania photographing culture, people and landscapes she has always been excited by all things visual, be it the arts or just life and people encountered from day to day. Practicing photography since a child, photography for her is a way to express the world as her imagination sees it and to transform the ordinary into something different. Her images are created from curiosity and intensity, bringing a uniqueness to photography that is her own, a style that can be documentary and honest and at other times mysterious and evocative.
