AN INVALID & HIS LIFELINE

Bert is in his late 70’s whom I have photographed quite a bit over the years, today, when I visited him, I decided to do a mini photographic essay.
As you can see he is quite disabled and has been housebound for the past 4 years with progressive lung disease and asthma brought on by many years of smoking. He is only able to breathe by being hooked up to a nebulizer 100% of the time, the constant throb of the compressor greets you as you enter his lounge, where he eats, lives and sleeps.
